Western MD

“I began practice as a therapist in 2016 after serving in different capacities in the behavioral health field for almost three decades. I’m comfortable working with tweens, teens, and adults, and especially interested in helping people with grief, relationship issues, bipolar and related disorders.

As a generalist therapist, I embrace different clinical perspectives in my work, tailoring them to the individual needs of my clients. I value the therapeutic relationship as a safe place to work with difficult feelings and issues, and as a relational ‘laboratory,’ where change happens as we begin to understand our thoughts, feelings, and actions, and those of others in our lives. My core belief about therapy is that real change results in acceptance of ourselves, others, the ‘givens’ of our lives, and responsibility for our own thoughts, feelings and actions.”
