Getting Ready for NextGen: A Quick Guide for Maryland Wellness Clients

Friday, June 5, 2026

We are committed to making your care experience as seamless and accessible as possible. As part of that commitment, we are transitioning to NextGen, a new electronic health record system designed to improve communication, streamline processes, and make managing your care easier.

While some things may look different, the care you receive will remain the same. You will continue working with the providers and team members you know and trust.

To help you prepare for this transition, we have created a simple Client Guide that highlights important updates, including:

  • Appointment reminders and notifications
  • Completing forms before appointments
  • Accessing telehealth visits
  • Billing and payment updates
  • Information about our new patient portal experience

We encourage all clients to review the guide before the transition to familiarize themselves with the upcoming changes.

If you have questions about the transition or need assistance accessing the guide, please contact our team. We are here to support you every step of the way.

Thank you for choosing Maryland Wellness. We look forward to continuing to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for you and your family.

You Matter To Us.

“When I first started, I was afraid to talk but once they started telling me about this program, I started to open up more. They taught me that I am important; it’s about me today. They have taught me to forget about the past and focus on my goals – my GED,  nursing, helping the homeless, volunteering, etc. This is the most amazing, awesome program in Baltimore, and that’s from my heart. The staff is wonderful, amazing, beautiful, unique and have hearts of gold.”
